Alice Sue Stanley

Mrs. Alice Sue Stanley, age 62, of Lake City, Florida died Monday, Dec. 28, in the Lake City Medical Center, Lake City, Florida following a brief illness. Mrs. Stanley had resided in Lake City, Florida all of her life. She worked as a seamstress with N & W Dry Cleaners in Lake City for over 20 years. She was a graduate of Columbia High School Class of 1977 and loved sewing and using her green thumb for gardening. She was the daughter of the late Joseph W. and Anice Taylor Tice. She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Sue Stanley (Derek Stinson) of Lake City, Florida: her son, Robert L. (Veronica) Stanley of Nicholasville, Kentucky: four sisters, Joyce Ann Crawford of Tampa, Florida, Betty J. Breckenridge of Lake City, Florida, Jo Pat Holley of Chipley, Florida and Mary Ellen Weaver of Ft. White, Florida: two brothers, Michael Tice and Joseph Tice both of Lake City, Florida: three grandchildren, Cloey Todd, Brantley Thomas and Bentley Thomas: a special friend, Bob Milhoan. A memorial service to honor the life of Mrs. Stanley will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday, Dec. 31, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral, 2659 S.W. Main Blvd., Lake City, Florida. www.guerryfuneralhome
