Amanda Elaine Herndon

Mrs. Amanda Elaine Herndon, age 49, of Lake City, Florida passed away on Monday, Oct. 24, in the HCA Lake City Hospital, Lake City, Florida. She was born in Valdosta, Georgia and lived in White Springs, Florida before moving to Lake City, Florida forty years ago. She was a homemaker and enjoyed baking food for her family and friends and taking care of her animals. She is survived by her husband, Victor C. Herndon of Lake City, Florida; her daughter, Lani Marie Herndon of Lake City, Florida; two sons, John Bazzell of Lake City, Florida and Carter Bazzell of Live Oak, Florida; Her mother, Helen Cecil (Patrick Downey) of White Springs, Florida; her father, Charles Herndon of Bellville, Florida; her sister, Jennifer Ross of Live Oak, Florida; and her brother, Brian Herndon of Lake Park, Georgia. Many nieces and nephews also survive.  A private memorial service will be held at a later date. GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W. Main Blvd., Lake City, Florida is in charge of arrangements.
