Angel Almendares

Angel Almendares (Angelito), age 57, of Lake City Florida. After fighting cancer for 3 years, he has entered God’s Paradise for his final resting on March 11, 2025. He was born in San Juan, La Paz, Honduras on November 22,1967. He was passionate about taking care of his animals and land on “La Faraóna Ranch”. He loved the rancher’s lifestyle, telling stories/ jokes, laughing, and spending quality time with loved ones. He was a fantastic father to three children, grandpa to six grandchildren, and an amazing partner. He will always be loved by his family. His memory and his legacy will live forever through Noel Hernandez and loved ones. Angel Almendares is survived by his forever of thirty-two years: Noel Hernandez; parents: Angel Almendares and Mary Antonio Velasquez; brother: Douglas, Edilberto; sister: Rosa, Ester; Tio to: AYON family: Kimberly(Mona China), Lanny, Anthony & Arleny; Fany Almendares; Hernandez family: Joshua & Derek, Sandoval family: José & Kenny, Fuentes family: Carlos, Gali & Melanie; brothers-in-law: Antonio, Jose, Carlos, Nelson; sister-in-law: Erika, Lucy, Fany, Eyvis; Like Family: Lina & Jesus Gonzalez, Dina & Luis Osorto, Willie & Gisela Parada, Don Chon, Jorge & Yamiel DelRio, Jorge & Theresa Carvajal; dog: Tati & Polo; cat: Camilo & Thomas; Cows: Lola & Daisy. A celebration of his life will be held 1:00pm, Friday, March 14, 2025, in the chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Rev. Carlos Fuentes officiating.
