Anita Kaye Connell

Mrs. Anita Kaye Connell, age 61, of Wellborn, Florida died Sunday, Nov. 11, at her home following an extended illness. She was born in Lake City, Florida and lived in Horseshoe Beach, Florida before moving to Wellborn, Florida in 1990. She was a homemaker and graduated from Columbia High School and attended Fellowship Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, jig-saw puzzles and her cats. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Dewayne Connell and her parents, Johnny Daniel and Marilyn Waldron Huggins. She is survived by her daughter, Andrea J. (Chad) Cheshire of Lake City, Florida: two sons, Michael Lee Nicholson of Wellborn, Florida and Johnie D. (Diocelin) Nicholson of San Diego, Ca.: One sister, Donna Dean of Lake City, Florida: Two brothers, Tony Huggins of Horseshoe Beach, Florida and Steve Huggins of Lake City, Florida: Five grandchildren also survive. Funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Connell will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday, Nov. 14, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Mr. Dwight Law officiating. Interment will be in Fellowship Cemetery, Suwannee County, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 1 to 2 P.M. Wednesday (One hour before services) at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W. Main Blvd., Lake City, Florida.
