Anne Marie Oriole

Mrs. Anne Marie Oriole, 99, of Lake City passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at the Health Center of Lake City. She was born in 1913 to the late Joseph and Josephine Arcara. Mrs. Oriole had lived in Lake City for the past five years having moved here from Boynton Beach, Florida, where she had lived for the previous twenty five years. She was always giving of her time and willing to get the job done. She enjoyed drawing landscapes, spending time with family and friends and was a member of Epiphany Catholic Church. Mrs. Oriole was preceded in death by her husband, Hector P. Oriole, in 1987.

Survivors include her daughter, Cynthia J. Oriole (Leon Kowalke), Lake City; her sister in law, Louise Burevitch, Wilmington, NC; close friends, Donna Escalada and family, Canton, GA, Sandra and Patrick McShane and family, Lake City, Toni Cappiello and Prisicilla Thomas both of New Jersey; numerous nieces and nephews throughout the United States also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at 7:00 PM in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Father Michael Pendergraft, officiating. Entombment will follow on Wednesday at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Pompano Beach, FL. Visitation with the family will be from 5-6:00 PM, one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
