Mr. Arlie Windol Combs, Jr., age 49 of Macclenny, Fla. died Sunday, Sept. 4, in the V.A. Medical Center, Lake City, Fla. following an extended illness. Mr. Combs was born in Jacksonville, Fla. and lived most of his life in Duval County before moving back to Macclenny, Fla. three years ago. He worked as a self employed plumber-carpenter for most of his life and was a member of the West Connett Methodist Church of Jacksonville, Fla. He is survived by his daughter, C. Brandice (Steven)Etheridge of Statesboro, Ark.: His father, Arlie Windol Combs, Sr. of Macclenny, Fla.: His mother, Nancy June Anderson of Maxville, Fla.: His paternal grandmother, Evelyn D. Combs of Macclenny, Fla.: One brother, Darren (Debbie) F. Combs of Jacksonville.: Two step-sisters, Debra H. McCall of Jacksonville, Fla. and Lisa Anderson of Jacksonville Beach, Fla.: One grandchild, Jonathan Etheridge: Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 1 P.M., Friday, Sept. 9, in the Jacksonville National Cemetery, Jacksonville, Fla. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 P.M., Thursday, Sept. 8, at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, U.S. 90 East, Macclenny, Fla.
