Barbara Ann Shrum

Barbara Ann Nixon Shrum, age 58, passed away peacefully on

Wednesday, December 4, 2019. Barbara is survived by her

loving and devoted husband Keith. She is also survived by her

children, Kristen (Andrew) Frill of Maryland, Courtney

(Benjamin) Dees of Lake City, and Wesley (Amanda) Shrum of

Indiana as well as her sister Julie (Don) Shrum of Pensacola and

her 99 year old grandmother Constance Simons of Wisconsin.

Barbara enjoyed spending time and spoiling her 10

grandchildren; Madison, Morgan, Leah, Aubrey, Weston, Dallas,

Ava, Phoebe, Abbey, and Beau. She also leaves behind several

nieces, nephews, and friends who love her. Barbara is preceded

in death by her mother, Claudette Rose Fowler, and father

Ronald Charles Nixon. Barbara loved to help others and found

great joy in making everyone laugh as they enjoyed her cooking!

She loved gardening, as her yard was always brimming with

plants and flowers that she loved tending too. A celebration of life

will be held on Sunday, December 8 at 12:00 noon at the

Montrose Group 205 AA Clubhouse, located at 205 SE Montrose

AVE, Lake City, Florida 32025.
