Bert Emanuel Taylor

Mr. Bert Emanuel Taylor, age 81, of St. George, Georgia died Thursday, July 8, in the St. Vincent’s Riverside Hospital, Jacksonville, Florida following a brief illness. He was born in Alma, Georgia  and resided in Glen St. Mary, Florida before moving to St. George, Georgia two years ago. He was employed in the roofing and construction industry most of his adult life. He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors as much as possible. He is survived by his beloved sister-in-law, Betty Taylor of St. George, Georgia: his brother, Carl “Bud” Carter of  Jesup, Georgia: numerous nieces and nephews and extended family survive. A graveside funeral service to honor the life of  Mr. Taylor will be held at 3 P.M. Monday, July 12, in Macedonia Cemetery, Baker County, Florida with Mr. Carl Carter of Jesup, Georgia officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 1:45 to 2:45 P.M. at Guerry Funeral Home, Macclenny, Florida followed with a procession to the cemetery.
