Bessie Louise Crump

Mrs. Bessie Louise Crump, age 94, 0f Sanderson, Fla. died Saturday, Sept. 15, in the Macclenny Nursing & Rehab Center, Macclenny, Fla. following a long illness. She was a native of St. Louis, Mo. and had resided in Sanderson, Fla. for the past 35 years. She worked as a proof operator with the Wellston Bank of Wellston, Mo. for over 25 years until her retirement. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Glen St. Mary, Fla., a former member of the Charmers of Baker County, the Women's Club of Macclenny and the Baldwin Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her parents, Franklin and Bessie McMichael Slocum, her late husband William Newton Crump and her son-in-law Windel Dugger. She is survived by her daughter Bessie L. Dugger of Sanderson, Fla.: Two sons William F. Crump of Sanderson, Fla. and Richard E. Crump of Florissant, Mo.: Eleven grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 P.M., Wednesday, Sept. 19, in the First Baptist Church of Glen St. Mary, Fla. with Rev. Stephen C. Johnson associate pastor officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Creek Cemetery, Sanderson, Fla. Visitation will be from 2 to 3 P.M., Wednesday (One hour before services) at her church.
