Beverly Ann Norris

July 24, 1936 — September 25, 2017

Mrs. Beverly Ann Norris went to heaven to be with her Lord on Monday, September 25, 2017 in the Suwannee Valley Care Center, Lake City, Florida. She was born in Battle Creek, Nebraska on July 24, 1936 to Mr. Marvin James  and Mrs. Evelyn Flesner James. Mrs. Norris resided in Norfolk, Nebraska before moving to Lake City, Florida 55 years ago. She was a homemaker and of the Lutheran faith and enjoyed embroidery, canning, reading books, and sewing.  Mrs. Norris was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Evelyn Flesner James.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Ronnie W. Norris, Sr. of Lake City, Florida: Her two daughters,  Sue Ann (Tom) Rumer of Orlando, Florida and Theresa  Norris Flake (Ricky) of Lake City, Florida: One son, Ronnie W. (Toni) Norris, Jr. of Lake City, Florida: Two sisters, Sherry Beckman of Ore, Nebraska and Kathy (Jim) Wilkinson of Waverly, Nebraska: One brother, Robert James of Norfolk, Nebraska:  A very good friend, Harriet Wehrle of Norfolk, Nebraska: Eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren also survive.

A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Norris will be held at 1 P.M. Friday, Sept. 29, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Ogburn, Pastor of the Watertown  Congregational  Methodist Church officiating  and with Mr. Len Sisson rendering the eulogy. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Columbia County, Florida.  Visitation and gathering with family will be from 5 to 8 P.M. Thursday, Sept. 28, at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W.
