Boyd Mccall Rhea

Mr. Boyd McCall Rhea, age 75, of Lake City, Florida passed away on June 5, 2024 in Gainesville, Florida. Mr. Rhea was born in Omaha, Nebraska and resided in Gainesville, Florida before moving to Lake City, Florida in 1973. Mr. Rhea was a real estate appraiser and also raised cattle. He operated Rhea Appraisals in Lake City for over 20 years. He was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church and raised his cattle after retirement. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Susan A. Rhea of Lake City, Florida; his daughter, Harriet (John David) Bryant of Palm Bay, Florida; his son, James Rhea of Lake City, Florida; five grandchildren, Alex (Kali) Rhea, Sean Bryant, Stephen Bryant, Aurora Rhea, and Megan Probeaux. A graveside memorial service to honor the life of   Mr. Rhea will be held 10:30 A.M. Saturday, July 13, in the Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery, Lake City, Florida with Rev. John David Bryant, Pastor of Joy Lutheran Church, Palm Bay, Florida, officiating. In lieu of flowers, a donation to St. Jude's Children's Hospital would be appreciated. GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W.
