Calvin Jasper Robinson 73, of Lake City, Florida passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at North Florida Reginal Hospital in Gainesville. Calvin was born to the late Leon and Lelia Lucille Robinson in Wellborn, Florida. He was a life time resident of the local area and a retired dairy worker. He was a proud member of the Lake City Church of God. Mr. Robinson enjoyed hunting and fishing but above all he loved his family. He was preceded in death by his wife Verna Pauline Robinson in March of 2013. Calvin was also preceded in death by his brother, Leon Robinson jr and sister, Lavinia Dees. He is survived by brothers, William J. Robinson (Julie) of Lake City, Mack Robinson (Tensey) of Mayo, and Roger Dale Robinson (Carol) of Lake City. Sisters Elizabeth Feagle (George) of Lake City, Margaret Emminger (Ronnie) of Dallas, GA, Betty Robinson (Butch) of Lake City. One sister n law Mary Robinson and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services to honor the life of Calvin will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 29, 2015 at The Lake City Church of God with Pastor Carroll Lee and Bro. Timothy Futch officiating. There will be a visitation one hour before the service at the church. Burial will follow in Memorial Cemetery Lake City, Florida.
