Carl Frederick Kunze, Jr.

Mr. Carl Frederick Kunze, Jr., age 85, of Wellborn, Florida died Monday, Dec. 21, at his residence following a long illness. Mr. Kunze was born in Orlando, Florida and resided there and Venice, Florida before moving to Wellborn, Florida in 1995. He was a building contractor, land developer, hardware store owner and operated orange groves during his working career. He was a member of the Our Redeemer Lutheran Church of Lake City, Florida. He loved working as a carpenter and enjoyed old cars. He was preceded in death by wife, Kathryn Sheely Kunze and his parents, Carl F. and Grace Elman Kunze, Sr. He is survived by his son, Allen C. (Gerri Sue) Kunze, Sr. of Wellborn, Florida: Two grandchildren, Allen Kunze, Jr. and Katie Sue Kunze. A graveside funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Kunze will be held at 3 P.M. Monday, Dec. 28, in the Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery, U.S. 41 South, Lake City, Florida with Pastor Stephen Fair of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church officiating. GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W.
