Mrs. Carlene Roberta Edmonds, age 90, of Lake City, Florida died Friday, Nov. 6, in the Lake City Medical Center, Lake City, Florida following an extended illness. She was born in Joiner, Arkansas and resided in Michigan before moving to Lake City, Florida in 1960. She worked for many years as a cashier with Morrell’s Country Mall, Lake City, Florida. She was a member of the Ramona Park Church, Lake City, Fla. and enjoyed crocheting, gardening, traveling, doing her church work and spending time with her family. She was the daughter of the late William and Alverta Virginia Hedrick, Sr. and the widow of the late John Strauss Edmonds. She is survived by her two daughters, Sandra Dianne Brown of Lake City, Fla. and Brenda Sue Mabrey of Phoenix, Ar.: Two sons, John Steven (Diane) Edmonds of Lake City, Fla. and Ronald Keith (Susan) Edmonds of White Springs, Fla.: Seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Edmonds will be conducted at 11 A.M. Tuesday, Nov. 10, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Elder Jim Easterly of the Ramona Park Church officiating. Interment will be in Fellowship Cemetery, Suwannee County, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 10 to 11 A.M.
