Mrs. Mary Carolyn Burnsed, age 66, of Dothan, Alabama died Monday, Aug. 31, at her residence following a sudden illness. She was born in Dothan, Alabama and had resided in Macclenny, Florida for over 30 years before moving back to Dothan, Alabama five years ago. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her father, Calvin Howard Braswell and her late husband, Robert Austin Burnsed, Sr. She is survived by her mother, Gayvon Braswell of Dothan, Alabama: Two daughters, Gina Parker of Glen St. Mary, Florida and Penny Wilkerson of Macclenny, Florida: Two sons, Robert A. Burnsed, Jr. and Martin T. Burnsed both of Dothan, Alabama: One sister, Sheilah Farmer of Dothan, Ala.: Four brothers, Hayward, Braswell, Lamar Braswell, Gary Braswell and Bobby Braswell all of Dothan, Ala: Thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive. A remembrance service to honor the life of Mrs. Burnsed will be held at 4 P.M. Friday, Sept. 4, in the First Baptist Church, Macclenny, Florida with Dr. Edsel Bone, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Macedonia Cemetery, Baker County, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 3 to 4 P.M. Friday (One hour before services at the church).
