Mrs. Catherine Teresa Cintorino, age 72, of O’Brien, Florida passed away Tuesday, Dec. 13, in the E.T. York Hospice Care Center, Gainesville, Florida. She was born in Brooklyn, New York and lived on Long Island, moved to Coral Springs, Florida and then had resided for 16 years in O’Brien, Florida. She was a floral designer and owned several flower shops in New York and Florida. She attended The Orchard in Branford, Florida. She was “A Birth Dowla” and owned Cathis Craft Cottage in O’Brien, Florida where she taught children art classes and was a master paper crafter. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lorenzo A. and Dorothy Scutari DeVito. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Thomas B. Cintorino of O’Brien, Florida; her daughter, Maria Sacrippante (Michael Meisenburg) of Gainesville, Florida; her son, Nicholas Sacrippante of Babylon, New York; one sister, one brother, four grandchildren, Catie Sue (Nicholas) Pastor, Junior Cress, Anthony Cress and Abigail Cress. A funeral service and gathering to honor the life of Mrs. Cintorino will be held on Thursday, Dec. 15, from 4 to 6 P.M. with Rev. Kevin Roberts speaking at 5 P.M.
