Cathryn Peterson

Mrs. Cathryn Marie Peterson, age 80, of Glen St. Mary, Florida died Saturday, Sept. 25, in the St. Vincent’s Riverside Hospice, Jacksonville, Florida following a long illness.  Mrs. Peterson was born in Baldwin, Florida and had resided in Glen St. Mary, Florida since 1982. She worked for K-Mart Store and Macclenny Products until her retirement. She loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Peterson, son, Jon Peterson, her parents John C. and Ruby Raulerson Crews and sisters: Norma Crews, Evelyn Davis. She is survived by her son, Jerald S. (Debra) Peterson of Glen St. Mary, Florida; one sister, Opal (Mark) Phelphs of Middleburg, Florida; two grandchildren, Dustin and Carla Peterson of Ft. Benning, Georgia and Jordan Peterson of Glen St. Mary, Florida; one great-grandchild, Grace Ann Peterson; one niece, Amanda Clayton; and Ashley Gueltzow, the mother of her great-grandchild. A graveside funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Peterson will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday, Sept. 28, in the Macedonia Cemetery, Baker County, Florida with Rev. Eddie Griffis officiating.
