Cathy Darlene Ford

Mrs. Cathy Darlene Ford passed away suddenly on November 12, 2023 at Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital. Cathy was born on October 6, 1952 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Eugene and Patricia Fille. Cathy lived in Jacksonville, Florida from 1995 to 2016 until she relocated to Macclenny, Florida.  She was a devoted Christian and was a member of the Macclenny Primitive Baptist Church since 2018. Cathy enjoyed volunteering at the Child Cancer Fund of Jacksonville, Florida.

Cathy had two brothers and three sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents and loving spouse of 45 years, James Michael Ford, Sr. She is survived by her son, James (Candace) Ford and daughter, Roberta Ford, as well as five grandchildren and one great grandchild.

A memorial service to honor the life of Cathy Ford will be held Saturday, December 2,  2023 at 3:00 PM at Macclenny Primitive Baptist Church. GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, U.S. 90 East, Macclenny, Florida is in charge of arrangements.
