Charity Alisa (Keen) Calhoun

Charity Alisa Calhoun, age 63 of Lake City, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2025. She was born in Lake City to the late Robert D. and Mary E. (Bedenbaugh) Keen Sr. Having grown up in White Springs, Ms. Calhoun was a 1979 graduate of Hamilton County High School and a member of First Baptist Church of White Springs. She was a homemaker who loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren who were the highlight of her life.  She loved gardening, cooking and being in and on the water at Suwannee Springs and Daytona Beach.  She is survived by her daughters: Michelle (Eric) Eaker, Addie (Nard) Smith, Marsha Smith, and Scarlet (PeeWee) Maxwell;  brother: Tracy (Freda) Keen and sister: Robbie Dee Keen, all of Lake City; grandchildren: Rebecca, Tyson, Lonnie, Junior, Emily, Madiesynn, Gage, Deauna, Danika, Sanora, Georgia, Zalayia, Alphonso, Dannie, Erika, Lauren, and Lexus. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother: Robert Dion Keen Jr. A celebration of her life will be held 12:00pm, Monday, June 2, 2025, in the chapel at Guerry Funeral Home, 2659 SW Main Blvd., Lake City, with Reverend Randy Ogburn officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Guerry Funeral Home is honored to serve the Calhoun family.
