Charles Dwight Jones

Mr. Charles Dwight Jones, age 65, of Macclenny, FL passed away peacefully Saturday, June 12th in the St. Vincent’s Southside Hospital, Jacksonville, FL following a long battle with diabetes. He was born September 26, 1955 to his late parents, Dwight and Carolyn Jones. Charlie grew up in Jacksonville, FL and attended Ribault Sr. High School. He started his career at American Coolair and then went to work for Breidert Air Products. The outdoors soon called him and he opened and owned First Coast Paintball. Charlie is survived by his three children, Allen Jones, Megan Jones and Scott Jones: brothers, Dwight W. Jones (Amy) and Rowe D. Jones (Kimberly). Many nieces and nephews also survive. A graveside service to honor the life of Mr. Jones will be held at 11 A.M., Thursday, June 17th at Woodlawn Cemetery, Macclenny, FL with Pastor Nathaniel Simmons of Raiford Road Church, officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association in honor of Charlie.
