Charles "Billy" Livingston

Mr. Charles William (Billy) Livingston, age 60 of Macclenny, FL passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022. Billy was born on November 27, 1961 in Jacksonville, FL to Bill and Mary Livingston. He graduated from Baker County High School in 1980 where he met the love of his life, Laura Maloy. Billy and Laura decided to share their life and were married in 1981. Billy proudly served as a U.S. Marine Aviation Engine Mechanic at Marine Corps Air Station in New River, North Carolina and in Japan. Together he and Laura raised a daughter and a son, but the light of his life was his grandson Thorne, whom he adored. He was later employed by Gerdau Ameristeel where he retired after 32+ years. He later worked in the maintenance department at NEFSH. He formed lifelong friendships at both places. Billy had a passion for life. He loved creating and building and there wasn't anything he couldn't do, he was a true jack of all trades. He was a very caring and generous man, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone. Billy was the epitome of a "family man" who was a wonderful and generous provider for his family. He was an avid Florida Gator fan and loved motorcycling and boating. Billy was preceded in death by his father, Charles William "Bill" Livingston; Step Father, James "Jim" Fraser; and Father and Mother In Law, Charles and Maudie Maloy. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Laura. His mother, Mary Livingston Fraser, his daughter, Harli McCullough; his son, Will Livingston; and his grandson, Thorne McCullough. Sisters: Pat (Butch) Logsdon, Sharon Griffiths, Priscilla Livingston, Marcheta (Gordon) Crews; Verna (Bob) Midgett; Brother, Jarvis (Lisa) Fraser; Brother in law, Joe (Cathy) Maloy; Sisters in law, Susan Williams and Annette Greene; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A funeral service to honor the life of Billy will be held at 2 P.M., Thursday, January 20th in the Glen Hill Primitive Baptist Church with Pastor Arnold Johns and Brother Johnny Raulerson, officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 6 to 8 P.M., Wednesday, January 19th in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home. Interment will follow the funeral services in Macedonia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Autism Speaks at https://www.autismspeaks.org/ a cause near and dear to Billy’s heart.  Guerry Funeral Home, U.S. 90 E., Macclenny, FL has been entrusted with the service arrangements.
