Mr. Charles Curtis “Brave” Moore, Sr., age 58, of Lake City, Florida passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 30, in the Suwannee Valley Care Center, Lake City, Florida. Mr. Moore was born in Green Cove Springs, Florida and resided in Lake City for over 40 years. He worked as a truck driver with Anderson-Columbia Construction, Lake City, Florida for over 25 years. He was an Army veteran and enjoyed fishing, playing pool and loved animals. Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his first wife, Marshall Diane Moore, his parents, Claudy L. and Patricia Gillikin Moore, Sr, and his daughter, Paula Renna Moore. He is survived by his wife, Julie L. Moore of Lake City, Florida; his daughter, Ruby (Randy) Pippins of Lake City, Fla.; two sons, Charles Moore, Jr. of Wildwood, Fla. And Robert A. Moore of Lake City, Fla.; his sister, Barbare Ann (Jerry) Powell of Lake City, Fla.; two brothers, Claudy L. (Linda) Moore, Jr. of Georgia and Donald (Katie) Moore of Lake City, Fla.; two grandchildren, Shawn Brandon and Savannah Geiger; two great-grandchildren, Brylee and River Brandon; two step-children, Joseph Yates of Oak Ridge, Tennessee and Lillian Yates of Lake City, Fla. A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Moore will be held 12 P.M. Saturday, Nov. 9, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home officiated by family members. Interment will be Moore Family Cemetery, Lake City, Florida. Visitation and gathering with family and friends will be from 5 to 8 P.M. Friday, Nov 8, at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W. Main Blvd., Lake City, Florida.
