Christine Johns

Ms. Christine Carol Johns, age 71, of Jacksonville, FL passed away Thursday, July 11th in the Baptist Medical Center, Jacksonville, FL following a brief illness. Ms. Johns was born in Jacksonville, FL and was a longtime resident of the Middleburg area. She worked as a product marketer for Crossmark and attended Cinnamon St. Baptist Church. Ms. Johns enjoyed reading, sewing, and loved spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Donna Hoewischer Scroggie and her late husband, Roger Johns, Sr. Ms. Johns is survived by four sons, Roger Johns, Jr., Richard Johns (Julie), Randall Johns (Christina) all of Middleburg, FL and Rolin Johns (Carrie) of Jacksonville, FL: one daughter, Rebecca Oliver (K. G.) of Middleburg, FL: one sister, Debbie Bush of Colorado Springs, CO: 14 grandchildren, Emily, Chelsea, Trey, Ricky, Kamerin, Christopher, Kenny, Matthew, Natalie, Dillon, Derick, Devin, Cara, and Alex. Fifteen great-grandchildren also survive. A graveside funeral service to honor the life of Ms. Johns will be held at 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, July 16th in the Padgett Cemetery with Pastor Rusty Williams officiating.
