Christopher “Chris” Tholie Crews, 21, a resident of Sanderson , Florida passed away February 27, 2012 .
Mr. Crews was born in Orange Park , Florida and had resided in Baxter all of his life. He was employed with the Columbia Correctional Facility, Lake City , Fl. He loved fishing, landscaping and gardening. Mr. Crews was a graduate of the Baker County High School Class of 2009 and was a member of the Baxter Church of God.
Survivors include his parents: Kenneth and Patricia Crews, Baxter , Florida his wife: Michelle Ashley Crews, Baxter, Fl. Maternal Grandfather, Rayford Rayburn, Payson, Arizona and his Maternal Grandmother Barbara Johnson, Taylor, Fl. One sister: Melissa Crews, Baxter, Fl. Three Brothers: Ricky Rayburn, Stephen Crews and Forest Crews all of Baxter, Fl.
Funeral services for Mr. Crews will be conducted Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in the Macclenny Church of God with the Rev. Shannon Conner, officiating. Interment will follow in the North Prong Cemetery . The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
