Clarence Randall Stubbs

Mr. Clarence Randall “Randy” Stubbs, age 55, of Hilliard, Florida died Friday, Dec. 8, in the Jane and Bill Warner Center for Caring, Fernandina Beach, Florida following a long illness. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida and resided in Douglas, Georgia for many years before moving to Hilliard, Florida two years ago.  He worked as a line foreman with PCC  Air Fol, Inc., Douglas, Georgia for 20 years until his retirement. He was of the Christian faith and enjoyed dancing, skating and camping on the river. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence R. and Estelle Burch Stubbs and two sisters, Rebecca M. Jones and Mary D. Stubbs.  He is survived by his wife, Lillian “Lil” F. Griffis Stubbs of Hilliard, Florida: Three daughters, Jackie Raines of Hilliard, Fla., Christina Stubbs of Jacksonville, Fla. and Tera Denis Stubbs of Douglas, Georgia: Five sisters, Julie Jones, Clara Webber of Jacksonville, Fla., Jan Nobles of Nicholls, Ga.,  Shirley Cobb of Hilliard, Fla. and Linda Sue Palmer of Douglas, Ga.: Three brothers, Harvey L. Stubbs, Glen M. Stubbs and Walter D. Stubbs all of Douglas, Ga.: Three grandchildren also survive.  A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Stubs will be held at 11 A.M. Monday, Dec. 11, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Rev. Eric Burch, Pastor of Lenox Church of God, Jacksonville, Fla., officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Baker County, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 6 to 8 P.M.
