Clinch C. Edenfield

Mr. Clinch C. Edenfield, age 71 of Lake City, Florida died on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 in the Lake City Medical Center, Lake City, Florida following an extended illness.  He was a lifelong resident of Lake City, Florida and worked as a supervisor with the Florida Department of Transportation in Lake City for many years before his retirement, He was of the Baptist Faith and a graduate of Columbia High School.  He enjoyed cooking and hunting from his hunting lodge in Georgia and family gatherings.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Farnell and Mildred Shealy Edenfield. He is survived by his daughter, Tracy (Marty) Kurtz of Lake City, Fla.; His son, David Edenfield of Jacksonville, Fla.; Five brothers Dale (Gwen) Edenfield of Palatka, Florida, Ronnie (Julie) Edenfield, Kenneth (Diane) Edenfield, Ricky (Becky) Edenfield and Randall (Lisa) Edenfield all of Lake City, Fla; Two sisters, Katrina (Ronald) Rhoden of Lake City and Sheila (Johnny) Walker also of Lake City, Two grandchildren, Samuel Kurtz and Alayna Kurtz both of Lake City, Fla. also survive. A visitation and gathering for family and friends to honor the life of Mr. Edenfield will be held from 5 to 7 p. m. Friday, June 5, at Guerry Funeral Home, U.S. Highway 41 South, 2659 S.W.
