Cora Lee Combs

Ms. Cora Lee Combs, age 83, of Glen St. Mary, FL passed away at her home with family by her side on Wednesday, December 13. Ms. Combs was born on January 14, 1934 to Robert Lee Clark and Elsie Richardson Clark in Macclenny, FL. She spent her entire life in Baker County. She married the love of her life, Mr. Angus Combs. They were married for nearly 62 years and had two daughters. Along with raising a family, Ms. Combs loved the Lord and was a member of Community Full Gospel Church. Ms. Combs is preceded in death by her husband, Angus Combs; both parents, Robert Lee Clark and Elsie Richardson Clark; one daughter, Deborah Combs Kennedy; and one sister, Marcelle Raulerson. She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca “Becky” Williams: grandchildren, Michael (Missy) Kennedy of Glen St. Mary, Delicia (Riley) Strickland of Glen St. Mary, Laura (James) Treece of Macclenny, and Ryan Williams of Savannah, GA; two sisters, Imogene Harris of Glen St. Mary, and Elizabeth (Clifton) Yost of Glen St. Mary; nine great grandchildren also survive. There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Ms. Combs on Friday, December 15 at 2:00 P.M. at Community Full Gospel Church with Rev. Tommy Richardson and Bro. Mark Woods officiating. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 14 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the church. Ms. Combs’ interment will be at Cedar Creek Cemetery in Sanderson, FL.
