Cynthia Shipp Bringman, a lifelong Lake City resident, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at the age of 60. Mrs. Bringman was a homemaker and a member of the Eastside Baptist Church. Mrs. Bringman had a heart for others. She loved her friends, talking with and doting on them, always making them feel loved and important. She especially enjoyed spending time with her son, Justin, and her granddaughter, Oakland. As a cancer survivor, Mrs. Bringman supported cancer research, and the local autism community was also close to her heart. She was an avid sports fan who loved WWE pro wrestling, Florida Gator Football and Jacksonville Jaguar Football; hence her favorite color was teal. Mrs. Bringman held a special place in her heart for animals, especially cats. She will be missed by all who know and love her. She is survived by her son: Justin Bringman of High Springs; daughter: Nicole Bringman of Lake City; granddaughter: Oakland of Lakeland; mother: Joyce Skinner; brother: William Segrest; and sister: Mary (James) Bennett all of Lake City. She was preceded in death by her father: Joseph E. Shipp and her husband: Kevin Ray Bringman. A celebration of life service will be held 1:00pm, Friday, February 20, 2026, in the chapel of Guerry Forbes Funeral Home of Lake City with Reverend Michael Norman officiating. Guerry Forbes Funeral Home of Lake City is honored to serve the Bringman family.
