Daisybelle Thrift Williams

Mrs. Daisybelle Thrift Williams, age 85, of Moniac, Georgia died Sunday, March 11, in thw Acosta-Rau Center for Caring, Jacksonville, Fla. following a short illness. She was born in Moniac, Georgia and lived there all of her life. She worked as a sales clerk at Covin Five & Ten Store, Macclenny, Fla. for many years and was a member of the Moniac Baptist Church, Moniac, Ga. She enjoyed cooking and having fellowship with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents Nathan and Lula Sands Thrift. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Melvin Williams of Moniac, Ga.: Her son, Randy (Irene) Williams of St. George, Ga.: Two grandchildren, Becky Adair and Stacy Guerrero: Eight great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 P.M., Tuesday, March 13, in the Moniac Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Colvin officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Baker County, Fla. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 P.M., Monday, Mar. 12, at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, Macclenny, Fla.
