Daniel A. Stratton, 75 of Lake City, Florida passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at North Florida Regional Hospital. Daniel was born to Claude and Bertha Stratton in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He attended the Cross Point Church in Lake City, Florida. Mr. Stratton proudly served his country in the United States Coast Guard and United States Air Force retiring from the Coast Guard. He enjoyed hunting and was well known for his brass rubbings (once did rubbing for Jack Benny), but above all he loved spending time with his family. Daniel leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife Linda Gail Stratton, sister, Linda Faye Stratton of California, nephew, Paul Smith (Brandi), great- nephew Trever and great-niece Onna. Funeral services to honor the life of Daniel will be held on Friday, March 19, 2016 at 2:00pm at Cross Point Church in Lake City, Florida. The family will receive friends for a gathering and visitation at 12:30 pm before the service at the church. Pastors Tommy Hudson and Lannis Stephens will be officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Lake City,
