Danny Louis Berry

Mr. Danny L. Berry, age 69 of Starke, passed away Friday, January 3, 2025. Originally from New Jersey, Mr. Berry was a thirty-year Bradford County resident. He served in the United States Army for twenty-three and a half years and was a highly decorated veteran. After his military discharge, he was employed by the State of Florida as a heavy equipment operator.  He enjoyed attending Airpark Baptist Church in Starke, where he was a member and loved to go bowling in Gainesville. He is survived by his brother: David A. Berry of New Jersey; sisters: Lynn C. Trowell and Lisa Uhl, both of Lake Butler; niece: Brittany Bailey and nephew: Joe Trowell. He was preceded in death by his mother: Joan Mary Clemons.  Funeral services will be held 3:00pm, Friday, January 10, 2025, in the chapel at Guerry Funeral Home with Reverend E.L. Hamilton and Mr. Mike Clemons officiating. Interment will follow the service at Douglas Cemetery, Lake Butler. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
