Mr. David Ray Espenship, age 58, of Lake City, Fla. died Monday, Oct. 8, at his residence. He was a life long resident of Lake City and worked as a construction superintendent with Bud Espenship Construction Company and Gator utilities of Lake City, Fla. for over 40 years. He enjoyed hunting and salt water fishing at Horseshoe Beach and Suwannee, Fla.
He is survived by his daughter Brook (Aaron) Bass of Branford, Fla.; Three grandchildren Kelsey Rae Bass, Braden Bass and Eli Bass; His father, Bud (Jackie) Espenship and his mother Betty Jo Richardson all of Lake City, Fla.; One brother, D.B. "Puddy" Espenship IV of Lake City, Fla.; One half-brother Scott Carter Espenship of Alachua, Fla.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4 P.M. Friday, Oct. 12, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Rev. Howard Thomas, Pastor of Deep Creek Advent Christian Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Cemetery, Lake City, Fla. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Thursday, Oct. 11, at GUERRY Funeral Home.
