David Lee Godbey

Mr. David Lee Godbey, age 78, of Bryceville, Fl. passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at the Acosta- Rau Center for Caring in Jacksonville, Fl. He was born in Clendenin, West Virginia and lived in Ocala, Fl. before moving to Bryceville, Fl. three years ago. Mr. Godbey served in the Air Force from 1952 to 1958. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. He was preceded in death by his wife of 22 years, Patricia Godbey in 2010. Survivors include one son, Richard D. (Christina) Godbey, Bryceville ; two daughters, Glenna Bush, Charleston, S.C. and Jennifer (Steve) Berluti, Las Vegas, NV; one brother, Bob (Dottie) Godbey, Cummings, Ga.; six grandchildren, Shane, Jessie, Larken, Jordyn, Sterling, and Morgan; 3 great grandchildren, Paige, Jade and Paxton along with many friends and family in Clendenin, WV. Services will be conducted Saturday, August 2, at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home, with Rev. Al Tucker officiating.
