Dean Allen Scheffler

Mr. Dean Allen Scheffler, age 62, of Lake City, Florida passed away at his residence following a sudden illness. Mr. Scheffler was born in Nelsonville, Ohio and resided in Clermont, Florida before moving to Lake City, Florida four years ago. He was a former sales manager for Jeld-Wen Windows & Doors of Charlotte, N.C. and with 35 years of service. Most recently he was a salesman with Bid D. Building Supplies, Jacksonville, Florida. He loved restoring antique tractors, motorcycle riding and camping with family. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Elizabeth Scheffler. He is survived by his wife, Melodee Scheffler of Lake City, Florida: three daughters, Amber (Kenny) Stewart and Ashley (Leon) Draughn both of Zanesville, Ohio and Deanna (Chris) Shorrock of Ennis, Texas; three sisters, Diane Ferguson of Cincinnati, Ohio, Deb Shusters of Corning, Ohio and Darla Chulk of Canal Winchester, Ohio; two brothers, David Scheffler of Lancaster, Ohio and Don Scheffler of Bend, Oregon; 10 grandchildren, Noah, Jersey, Joey, Cameron, Alexa, Parker, Veyah, Zaney, Chris and Matthew; one great-grandchild, Rylan also survive. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W. Main Blvd., Lake City, Florida is in charge of arrangements.
