Deloris Hardin

January 29, 1940 — July 10, 2022

Mrs. Deloris Hardin, age 82, passed away on July 10th at her home in Oklahoma. Mrs. Hardin was born in Maxville, FL and lived in Jacksonville for most of her life until 2012 where she moved to McAlester, Oklahoma, and lived out the rest of her life there. Mrs. Hardin enjoyed to cook and bake for her family and friends. She loved to keep the family together, such as family reunions. She loved her family and loved spending time with her grandkids. She was a member of the First Baptist of Downtown Jacksonville and served Jesus Christ with all of her soul. Mrs. Hardin will be remembered as someone who had a heart of gold and took care of anyone that needed it. She will be missed dearly by family and friends alike.

Mrs. Hardin is preceded in death by both of her parents, Paul and Edith Coleman; Late husband, Millard Hardin; Two sons, Donald Coleman and Allen Pippins; Brother, Ray Coleman; and sister, Mildred Ryan.

She is survived by her only living son, Alex Pippins of McAlester, Oklahoma; One brother, Buddy Coleman of Lawty, Florida; One sister, Shelba Whitaker of Starke, Florida; Aunt and best friend, Zelma Story; grandchildren, Allen, Malcolm, Monica, Marlena, MaKayla, Morgan, Miranda, Lindsey, Maverik, and Payton; and Great-grandchildren, Laynee, Breeley, Maverik, Tristan, Haley, Malorie, Asher, Hazel, Brayden and Westyn. Numerous cousins also survive.

A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Hardin will be at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 19th, at the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home-Macclenny. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 12 to 1 P.M. Tuesday (One hour before services) at the funeral home. Mrs. Hardin will be laid to rest at South Prong Cemetery following the services. GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, U.S. 90 East, Macclenny, Florida is in charge of arrangements. .
