Dennis Allen Keesling

Mr. Denis Allen Keesling, age 75, of Lake City, Florida passed away on Tuesday, April 4, at his residence. Mr. Keesling was born in Anderson, Indiana and lived in Pendleton, Indiana before moving to Lake City, Florida 18 years ago. Mr. Keesling worked as a production worker in the plating department of General Motors in Anderson, Indiana for thirty seven years until his retirement. He was a member of the Markleville, Indiana  Christian Church, a Vietnam Army veteran, a member of the United Auto Workers Union and the V.F.W. He enjoyed collecting cast iron models of cars and trucks and using large tractors on his property.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth S. and Alice Garris Keesling and his son, Kenneth Stephen Keesling. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Tina Keesling of Lake City, Florida; one daughter, Tisha (Chad) Williams of Anderson, Indiana; four grandchildren, Anthony M. Keesling, Kenneth S. Keesling, Taylor N. Williams and Tyler A. Williams; one great-grandson, Braxton M. Keesling; several cousins  in Knightstown, Indiana; special people, Steven and John Grimes and families; Terry and Ginger Rensel of Naples, Florida; Jerry Norris and family and several nieces and nephews in Ocala, Florida. Services will be held at a later date.
