Donna Marie Messer

Ms. Donna M. Messer, age 60, passed away Friday, March 19th at her home, following an extended illness. Ms. Messer was born in Sanderson, FL and was a lifelong resident of Baker County, FL. She was employed at McDonalds for over 20 years until her retirement. Ms. Messer was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Macclenny and had also attended Raiford Road Church. She enjoyed going to yard sales and thrift stores and was honored to serve as a caretaker for her mother. Ms. Messer loved her family and cherished being a mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her late husband, Daniel John Messer, Sr., her father, J.O. Wiggins, brother, Larry Wiggins, and nephews, Ricky and James Wiggins. Ms. Messer is survived by her mother, Betty Jean Wiggins of Macclenny: two daughters, Ginnie Poms of Fall Branch, TN and Amber Crawford of Macclenny, FL: one step son, Daniel John Messer, Jr. (Jena) of Jacksonville, FL: three sisters, Bonnie Wiggins of Bristol, TN, Sharron Wiggins and Mona Wiggins, both of Macclenny, FL: six grandchildren, Leland Crawford, Austin Redstone, Chace Redstone, Eliyanah Poms, Audrey Marie McFadden and Colter Messer: and loving companion Davey FLoyd. A memorial service to honor the life of Ms. Messer will be held at 2P.M., Monday, March 29th in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Brother Herman Rios officiating.
