Dorothy Jean Douglas

Dorothy Jean Douglas, 80, a resident of O’Brien, Florida passed away March 19, 2011 at the Lake City Medical Center following an extended illness.
Mrs. Douglas was a lifelong resident of Columbia County and is the daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson and Bertha Mae Grimes. She was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker.
Survivors include Three Sons: Robert Roberts, O’Brien, Fl., Randall (Patricia) Roberts and Bryant Roberts both of Lake City, Fl.. Four Grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Douglas will be conducted Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with the Rev. Bruce Arnold, Pastor of Beachville Advent Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in the Ft. White Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday March 22, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Guerry Funeral Home 2659 SW. Main Blvd. Lake City is in charge of arrangements.
