Ms. Dorothy Clarine Fouraker Swenson, age 91, of Bryceville, FL passed away Tuesday, Dec. 13 at her home following a long illness. She was born in Bryceville, Florida and made her home there most of her life. She was a former school teacher at Bryceville Elementary School and managed apartment and storage facilities property for many years. She was a member of the Bryceville First Baptist Church and helped in many church functions during her lifetime. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherburne Fred Swenson, her son, Sherburne Michael Swenson, her parents, Thomas Jefferson and Dessie A. Moates Fouraker, three brothers, Lester, Eugene and J.H. Fouraker and a sister, Lucille Surrency. She is survived by two daughters, Kay (Gerald) Doyle of Loudon, Tennessee and Dessie (James) Morrison of Jacksonville, Florida: Two sons, Thomas F. Swenson of Bryceville, Florida and Steven (Giselle) Swenson of Jacksonville, Florida: One brother, Thomas (Ann) Fouraker of Bryceville, Florida: Eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive. A memorial service to honor the life of Mrs. Swenson will be held at 12 P.M. Saturday, Dec. 17, in the Bryceville first Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Yerby, Pastor, and Brother Richard Fish officiating. Please make memorials to the Bryceville First Baptist Church, 7732 U.S. Highway 301, Bryceville, Florida 32209.
