Douglas Gordan Winstead Iii

Mr. Douglas Gordan Winstead III, age 35, of Glen St. Mary, Florida passed away Friday, December 16, at his residence. Mr. Winstead was born in Utah and lived in Jacksonville, Florida before moving to Baker County 21 years ago. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and NASCAR. He also loved football and loved to attend sporting events. He was a great big brother, wonderful uncle and adored his family and friends. Mr. Winstead is preceded in death by his grandparents, Leo and Beth Farnsworth and Doug and Sylvia Winstead and grandmother, Madeline Virginia Hinson. He is survived by his mother and step father, Evon (John) Hinson of Glen St. Mary, FL: his father, Douglas G. Winstead, Jr. of Whitehouse, FL: his fiancé, Karen Carter of Glen St. Mary, FL: one brother, Tyler (Kristi)Winstead of Whitehouse, FL: one sister, Marsee Manucy of Whitehouse, FL also survives. Funeral services to honor the life of Mr. Winstead will be held at 12 P.M., Thursday, December 22, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home, with his uncle, Bishop Fred Farnsworth officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 11 to 12 P.M. (one hour before services). Final disposition will be by cremation.
