Mr. Dunbar J. Hagen, age 91, of Olustee, Fla. passed away Sunday, December 14, in the Suwannee Valley Care Center, Lake City, Fla. following a brief illness. Mr. Hagen was born in Jacksonville, Fla. and lived in Lake City, Fla. before moving to Olustee, Fla. approximately 25 years ago. He was a member of the Eastside Baptist Church, Lake City, Fla., the Masonic Lodge, Lake City, Fla., and the Shriners of Lake City, Fla. Mr. Hagen enjoyed feeding his animals which included turkeys, deer and squirrel, loved fishing and cherished his dog, Joey.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Ora Hagen, and his late wife, Mary Lee Hagen. He is survived by one son, John Bruce Hagen of Olustee, Fla.; Two daughters, Donna Brown (Keith) of Lake City, Fla. and Mary (Jenny) Virginia Lorton (Terry) of Perry, Ga.; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12 P.M. Wednesday, December 17th, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home, Lake City, Fla. with Rev. Brandon Witt, Lake Butler, officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Lake City, Fla. Visitation will be from 11 to 12 P.M., Wednesday (one hour before services). In lieu of flowers the family would like donations made to Eastside Baptist Church, Lake City, Fla. or to the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children, Greeneville, S.C. Guerry Funeral Home, 2659 S.W.
