E. H. Harvey

E.H. Harvey Sr., 86 of Sanderson, Fl. passed away peacefully on November 23, 2023, surrounded by his loving family at home. He was born April 5,1937 in Sanderson, Florida to the late Donald and Rosa Harvey. In 1955, E.H, also known as Bud, married the love of his life, Clarine Harvey, giving them 68 beautiful years together. They created a loving family including 3 sons, which he enjoyed coaching in little league and minor league ball. Before retiring in June of 1999, he worked 33 years as the Baker County School Board Maintenance foreman. When he wasn't in his garden, you could find him watching a ballgame or casting a line. He also enjoyed spending time in their mountain home in Franklin, North Carolina, prowling those thrift stores, looking for a good deal. He will be sorely missed by all that knew and loved him. He leaves behind a loving wife, Clarine Harvey. 3 sons; Mickey (Wanda) Harvey, Randall "Boone" Harvey, and Andy (Marlayna) Harvey; 5 grandchildren, Waylon Harvey, Joshua (Ashley) Harvey, Nikki (Kyle) Delp, Kayln Harvey, Isabella Harvey; 4 great grandchildren, Trey, Kolton, Kh'loe, and Gentry Ray. A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Harvey will be held at 11 A.M., Monday, November 27th in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Pastor David Thomas officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 5 to 7 P.M. on Sunday, November 26th at the funeral home. Interment will follow the funeral service in Cedar Creek Cemetery.
