Mr. Edward Vinson Prince, age 69, of Lake City, Florida passed away on Sunday, Oct. 23, in the Palms Nursing & Rehab Center, Lake City, Florida following an extended illness. Mr. Prince was born in Wellborn, Florida and had lived in Lake City, Florida since 1957. He was a truck driver working in the logging business and most recently drove a truck for Roy Bagley Trucking Company for many years. He enjoyed hunting and camping with his family. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Dasha Prince, his parents, George B. and Ruby Whaley Prince, sister, Diana Moore and two brothers, David Prince and Eldon Box, Jr.. He is survived by two sisters, Carlon Garcia and Jean Merson both of Lake City, Florida; five brothers, George (Vickie) Prince of Palmer, Mass., James (Gail) Prince of Lake City, Florida, Leroy (Tina) Prince of Live Oak, Florida, Daniel (Debbie) Prince of Fort White, Florida and Bobby Lee Box of Providence, Florida; one grandchild, Jasmine Prince also survives. A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Prince will be held at 2 P.M. Friday, Oct. 28, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home, Lake City, Florida. Interment will be in Bethlehem Cemetery, Lake City, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday, Oct. 27 at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W. Main Blvd., Lake City, Florida.
