Edward Robert Sheldon, 57, a resident of Lake City, Florida passed away March 6, 2012 at his home.
Mr. Sheldon was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and had resided in Lake City for the past twenty-four years. He is the son of the late Bobby Edward and Betty Lou Fussnecker Sheldon. He is preceded in death by his son, Eddie Sheldon, Jr. and a sister Barbara Allen. Mr. Sheldon loved to play sports, baseball, darts and billiards.
Survivors include his wife of thirty-eight years, Connie Sheldon, Lake City, Fl. two daughters: Tammy Sheldon and Tonja Sheldon both of Lake City, Fl. Two sisters: B.J. (Bruce) Register, Lake City, Fl. and Tammy (John) Lacey, New York. Four Brothers: Billy (Carolyn) Sheldon, Bobby (Robin) Sheldon, Ray Sheldon and Joe (Donna) Sheldon all of Lake City, Florida.
Funeral services for Mr. Sheldon will be conducted Monday, March 12, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with the Rev. Lewis Daniels, officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Lake City, Fl. The family will receive friends Monday March 12, 2012 from 9:00-11:00 A.M just prior to the service. Guerry Funeral Home 2659 SW. Main Blvd. Lake City, Florida is in charge of all arrangements.
