Eldon Junior Cunningham

Mr. Eldon Junior Cunningham, age 80, of Lawtey, FL passed away peacefully on Monday, August 8 in the ET York Hospice Center, Gainesville, FL, following an extended illness.  He was born in Nebraska City, NE to the late Eldon and Anna Dugger Cunningham. Mr. Cunningham lived in Callahan, FL for many years before relocating to Lawtey, FL. He enjoyed fishing with his grandsons, watching Westerns and football. Mr. Cunningham is preceded in death by his parents and 11 siblings. He is survived by 3 daughters, Kelly Richmond (Michael) of Lawtey, FL, Kathy Simmons (Jack) of Jacksonville, FL, and Melissa Garnto (Doug) of Eastman, GA: one brother, Richard Cunningham (Shelley) of Utica, NE: 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Cunningham will be held at 12 P.M., Monday, August 15 in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Widener officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 11 to 12 P.M. (one hour before the service). Interment will follow at the Jacksonville National Cemetery at 2 P.M.
