Elick Eugene Driggers Jr.

Mr. Elick Eugene Driggers, Jr., 52 of Jacksonville, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at the Acosta Rua Center for Caring in Jacksonville. He was born and raised in Jacksonville and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Driggers was a welder by trade and enjoyed fishing, gardening and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Elick Eugene Driggers, Sr., one son, Elick Eugene Driggers, III and three sisters, Sabrina Anderson, Brenda Driggers and Cheryl Driggers. Survivors include his wife, Sherry Driggers, Jacksonville; his mother, Joyce Cobb Driggers, St. George, GA; two sons, Alex Driggers and Erik Driggers both of Jacksonville; three daughters, Brittany Driggers (Travis Hall) and Sherrie Manasco (Andy Epperson) both of Jacksonville and Tonya Wells (Dan) of Tennessee; one daughter in law, Jennifer Driggers, Orlando; two sisters, Susan Gayle Greene (Skeeter), Jacksonville and Anna Driggers Lewis (Wayne), Macclenny; eight grandchildren, Aubrey Hall, Erik Driggers II, Derrick Driggers, Nevaeh Wallace, Aden Wallace, Elick Eugene Driggers IV, Damon Wells and Celsee Ford; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. A memorial service will be conducted on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 6:00 PM in the chapel of Guerry Funeral Home in Macclenny. Arrangements are under the direction of GUERRY Funeral Home, Macclenny.
