Mrs. Elizabeth Anne Combs, age 66, of Macclenny, Florida dies Friday, Nov. 2, in the Baptist Medical Center, Jacksonville, Florida following a long illness. She was born in Jacksonville, Fla. and resided there until moving to Macclenny, Fla. fourteen years ago.
She was the daughter of the late John Joseph and Jette H. Slone Beatty, Jr. She was preceeded in death by a step-son Windol Combs, Jr.
She was employed as a claims co-ordinator with Prudential Insurance Company, Jacksonville, Fla. for 30 years until her retirement in 1995. She was of the Protestant faith and loved animals,working in her garden and loved her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Windol Combs of Macclenny, Fla.: Her daughter Debbie Ann hinson-McCall of St. Augustine, Fla.: Her step-son Darren F. (Debbie) Combs of Jacksonville, Fla.: Four grandchildren, Morgan, Billy, Kylie, and Kristine: One sister Margaret Elouise Beatty of Glen St. Mary, Fla.: One brother John Joseph Beatty, III of Glen St. Mary, Fla.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 A.M., Wednesday, Nov. 7, in the Riverside Memorial Park, Jacksonville, Fla. with Elder David Crawford, Pastor of Macclenny Primitive Baptist Church, officiating. There will be a private family viewing.
