Emory Steven Register

Mr. Emory Steven Register, age 60, of Live Oak, FL passed away Sunday, June 2 in the Shand’s  Medical Center, Live Oak, FL following an extended illness. Mr. Register was born in Jacksonville, FL and lived in Baker County, FL for 20 years before moving to Live Oak, FL. He served in the United States Navy and Airforce and worked as an airplane mechanic at NAS Jax for many years. Mr. Register was a member of the Bixler Advent Christian Church, Dowling Park, FL and enjoyed gardening and cooking. He is preceded in death by his father, George Register and grandparents, Jetpha and Agnus Register and Steve and Nova Kirkland. Mr. Register is survived by his loving wife, Debrah Mae Bowen: mother, Sarah Kirkland Register: one son, Wade Register (Lynn) of Ellaville, GA: three daughters, Jessica Register of Jacksonville, FL, Monica Register of Cross City, FL and Cortney Register of Sanderson, FL; three brothers, Duane Register (Pam) of Ellaville, GA, Maxie Sands (Nancy) of Valkaria, FL and Tony Register (Julie) of Pitts, GA: one sister, Pam Raulerson (Raymond) of Glen St. Mary, FL. Ten grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive. Funeral services to honor the life Mr. Register will be from 2 to 4 P.M., Saturday, June 8 in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home, U.S. HWY 90 E., Macclenny, FL with Rev. Frank Hall officiating.
