Mrs. Endia June Walker, age 92, of Macclenny, FL passed away Thursday, August 25th in the Frank Wells Nursing Home, Macclenny, FL after an extended illness. Mrs. June was born in Jacksonville, FL and was a lifelong resident of Baker County, FL. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Macclenny where she enjoyed being in the choir. Mrs. June was a member of the Junior Woman’s Club and a bowling league. She loved hunting trips to Colorado, traveling with her sisters and spending time with her family. Mrs. June loved her family and managed the family rental business for over 60 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Odis and Lula Mae Yarborough, her husband, Claudell Walker, granddaughter, Natalie Walker and seven brothers and sisters. Mrs. June is survived by two sons, Claude Michael (Wanda) Walker of Glen St. Mary, FL and Mark D. (Susan) Walker of St. Augustine, FL: one brother, Bobby Yarborough of Glen St. Mary, FL: one sister, Faye Combs of Alabama: four grandchildren, Claudette (Marcus) Mallory, Rita (Don) Mairs, Kyle Walker and Dean (Mary) Walker: seven great- grandchildren, Kessler, Blakely, and Walker Mallory, Ava, Cole, Ben and Sarah Mairs. A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Walker will be held at 11 A.M., Tuesday, August 30th in the First Baptist Church of Macclenny with her nephew, Rev. Benjamin Mott officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 10 to 11 A.M. (one hour before services). Interment will follow the funeral services in Woodlawn Cemetery.
