Ernestine Daniels

Mrs. Ernestine Daniels, age 92, of Lake City, Florida passed away Monday, Feb. 7, in the Baya Point Nursing Home, Lake City, Florida following a long illness.  Mrs. Daniels was born in   Newport, Tennessee and had resided in Lake City, Florida for the past 63 years. She worked as a beautician for over thirty years in the Lake City area. She loved her family and enjoyed cooking. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ollis Daniels, her parents, Linton and Ella Knight Walker, sister Mary Frankie Huff, brothers Rotten and Authur Walker and grandson, Nicholas Jones. She is survived by her son, Bobby E. (Rachel) Daniels, Sr. of Lake City, Florida; daughter, Julie (Scott) Chambliss of Killen, Texas; one sister, Dot Dawson of Bridgeton, New Jersey; five grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren also survive. A graveside funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Daniels will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, Feb. 11, in Philippi Cemetery, C.R. 18, Lake City, Florida with Rev. Billy Young, Pastor of Hopeful Baptist Church officiating.  Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday, Feb. 10, will be at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W.
